16.02.2013, Hofburg Vienna

On the 16th of February the IAEA's 56th Anniversary Ball, featured a spectacular range of performances, including a few surprises that took place at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.

Decadence spewed in every single corner of the Venue. Ladies and Gentleman came looking splendidly dressed. What a beautiful evening, yet not to be forgotten that the celebration did not only cater for the evening, but the proceeds were being donated to charities. That's what genuinely warmed my heart.

The opening of the Ball took me back down memory lane as the dancers strutted their moves on the floor. Amazingly talented Ivuthela Diversity Cultural Group featuring Thabiso Serobanyane and Opera South Africa where amongst the few who performed, but what made them stand out of the crowd was their being South African and all this made possible by Makhaya Arts and Cultural Development.

As the night went on, everyone found comfort in networking and enjoying the evening.

Africanlife would like to thank the South african Embassy for the invitation to such an wonderful event with a worthy cause to charities.

It was a night never to be forgotten by some ...
