Kasumama Africa Festival, Day 2

As the Festival goes on, it attracts even more visitors. I must say that even though it's my first time at the festival, I must admit that it's really been loads of fun. Even though the weather might be playing silly tricks on us, as they say the show must go on. The activities have been fun, markets, food, talks and lots more.

Kasumama Africa Festival, Day 1

Kasumama, thirteen consecutive years and a great attendance even on the opening day of the festival. An African market, the fragrant scent of delicious African delicacies in the air and the sounding of drums which brought the whole atmosphere together for the festival visitors.

From 14. to 17.8.2013 reggae music is coming back to the idyllic location at the confluence of Tolminka and Soča river! World-renowned reggae stars such as Inner Circle and Groundation, will deliver four unforgettable days of music, sun, culture and fun!

This year the Garance Reggae Festival will be held from the 24th to the 27th of July 2013 in Bagnols-sur-Cèze (France). The Garance Reggae Festival reception area, « Kingston village », next to the ARTHUR RIMBAUD park offers festival goers space for 6 000 tents and will be coordinated by local associations.

Nigeria Cultural Week, 24. - 29.06.2013

The first Nigerian Cultural Week is taking place in Vienna starting from today the 24th of June till 29 June 2013, at the  Welt Museum, Neue Burg, 1010, Vienna, Austria. Nollywood will be coming to Vienna for the first time! The aim is not only to entertain but also to  enlighten the public about the film culture that Nigeria boasts of. Nollywood films such as the Last flight to Abuja by Award Winner Direktor Obi Emelonye will be screened with German subtitles.
