Much appreciation goes out to artist like Shurel Alicia Reynold, who believes in holding onto tradition and sharing the different art forms of dance with the world. Shurel presented the Caribbean Dance Night at Sayga, something different relaxed and entertaining.

Shurel Alicia Reynold born in Anitgau and now based in Vienna has been a dancer from a very young age, having inherited the art form from her grandmother as she mentioned, her passion is driven by sharing this art for of dance with many. She also offers dance class in Vienna. It really was an amazing evening having met her even more so getting to understand where her passion stems from. She not only concertrates on the traditional dances but all Caribbean and African dances too. I find that events of such a nature need much more attention paid them as they are unique and share a significant part of tradition with them. We really enjoyed the evening. Thank you to Shurel for taking time out to share the evening with us all at Sagya.

We look forward to seeing more of the traditional Caribbean and African Dance.
