Dear Daughter, For days now, we’ve been putting our shoes where they belong as soon as we walk into our home. It’s a tiny step toward the life I want for us both: a life of clean, free space. Neatness will become our habit, then our lifestyle.  For now, it’s just an annoyance that makes you huff like a teenage me. It’s ok. We’re both learning that it’s not just about stuff.

Having to deal with thick, rebellious and extremely curly hair is very challenging. It is not like you have the patience to style your hair in a different manner every single morning. However, if you had the right haircut, then it would not be that hard to style it however you find fit.

With a string of events lined up around Vienna, on this particular day, my calling was to the Kenyans in Diaspora Austria Launch in Commemoration of Kenya's 50 Celebration. This being the first inaugural KIDA Celebration, there definitely  was a good turn out, as many attended the event, honoring the KIDA Award Winners in support of the organization.
